A hospital was opened in 1400 AH among five hospitals bearing the same name in other regions of the Kingdom during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him. King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah is considered a medical landmark and the largest Ministry of Health hospital in the region and its environs. The hospital includes a number of specialized medical centers Such as the Heart Center, the Ear, Nose and Throat Center, the Kidney Center, the Dental Center, and the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Endoscopic Surgery.
