The first daily newspaper published in the Arabic language in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its first issue was published on 1/1/1385 AH corresponding to 5/11/1965 AD, with a limited number of pages, and its development continued until it became published in 52 pages daily, including 32 color pages, and it issued issues of 80 - It is 100 pages and its advertising space exceeds (3) * million cm/column annually. It currently occupies the forefront in terms of distribution rates, readership, and advertising space in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is edited by an elite group of writers and editors. It is the first Saudi publication to achieve a rate of (100%) in the Saudization of editorial jobs.
