The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region is one of the administrative regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The headquarters of its emirate is the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and its emirate is assumed by Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region is the most populous region in the Kingdom, as it is inhabited by about 25.5% of the total population of the Kingdom.
