The Saudi Real Estate Development Fund is a non-profit development real estate fund that was established pursuant to a Saudi royal decree on the eleventh of Jumada al-Akhira in the year 1394 AH, corresponding to the eleventh of July 1975. Then the fund began its activity in providing loans to citizens to help them establish their own homes, and for the purpose of investment. Starting from the beginning of the year 1395 AH, with a capital of two hundred and fifty million riyals, then this number doubled until it reached eighty-two billion, seven hundred and sixty-nine million riyals.
